At the FINA World Cup in Indianapolis, Ledecky broke Mireia Belmonte of Spain's previous 800m record by nearly two seconds
Ledecky, 25, surpassed Belmonte's previous record of 7:59.34 from 2013 by swimming in a time of 7:57.42
